Fighting for the Underdog
Born and raised in North Carolina, Jason attended college at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and law school at Campbell University School of Law. Prior to joining Gibbons Leis, PLLC, Jason worked as a trial attorney for one of the largest personal injury law firms in North Carolina where he gained valuable experience as a litigator. Jason has a purpose and calling for his career – providing a voice for people when they are in need of assistance. As an employment law litigator, Jason enjoys representing the underdog and fighting for the rights of employees.
Growing up, Jason experienced firsthand how decisions made by corporations impact workers and their families. Jason’s mother worked for many years at a large North Carolina textile manufacturing plant that shut down after outsourcing its work out of the country. Jason has not forgotten how the plant shutdown impacted his family and community.
Enjoying Life and Giving Back
Outside of the law, Jason leads an active lifestyle. You will often find him running, bicycling, and spending time outdoors with his three rescue dogs he adopted from a shelter. Jason also enjoys playing guitar and attending live music concerts. Jason is also a Carolina Panther superfan.
Jason believes in supporting his community and donates his time to assist people in need at homeless shelters and food banks, and participates in adopt-a-spot cleanups in his hometown of Laurinburg, North Carolina.
